THE HISTORY OF LUKOLL
1918-1922
In Lima, Richard O. Custer, a Swiss national, is transferred from New York to Lima as General Manager of Junín Agencies.
1922 - 1946
RO Custer is founded, beginning with European representation of products for the textile, chemical, and consumer industries, among others.
1950
Laboratorio Roussel Perú is founded to manufacture and sell French products in Peru. It is the first laboratory established in Peru by a multinational company with a Peruvian company, as well as the formation of the Farma Pipal laboratory.
1945 - 1950
With the founding of the Custer Chemical Company, the first powdered detergent was manufactured in Peru. Additionally, Custer & Thommen was founded, specializing in textile machinery and engineering products, leading to the founding and production of ARROW shirts in Peru in conjunction with Arrow Shirts USA.
1970
ROCSA continues to expand into the pharmaceutical and textile industries, receiving representation from Laboratorio Zambon of Italy, launching "Otozambon," "Fluimucil," and others. It also launched "Isoprinosine" from Lab. Newport of the USA. Other products that remain leaders to this day.
1980
Profarma is founded to sell a Swiss vitamin in Peru, and Difarma begins to spread with the exclusive representation of the Schering-Plough Laboratory in Peru.
2003 to date
Profarma is relaunching under the name "Lukoll," with a distinct vision, geared toward the 21st century and its needs. In the 20 years of Lukoll, it has managed to enter and remain in the following categories: "GPTW" (Good Distribution and Transportation Practices) since 2021; "BPDT" (Good Pharmacovigilance Practices) since 2019; and "BPFV" (Good Pharmacovigilance Practices) since 2023.
